So remember my last post where I said that I was back to work on Deathborn?…
Well…
Here he is!
Deathborn the F-Zero Underworld Champion appears to challenge Captain Falcon once again. (Hopefully a Wii F-Zero will come soon.)
As you know if you’ve played F-Zero GX, Captain Falcon beat Deathborn in a race and Deathborn crashed for absolutely no reason (must’ve gotten depressed from losing the race) and supposedly died, even though he’s died before…
It’s actually pretty interesting how I started the texture almost a year ago, and just finished it. XD
They’d better make a new F-Zero for Wii soon though, with online, some new characters, and a track editor. Although, Deathborn killed Black Shadow because he failed to beat Captain Falcon in the Grand Prix, they could probably say that he came back from an alternate dimension or something. (A more detailed description would be that Deathborn magically appears for some reason, tells Black Shadow that he has failed for the last time, gets a sword kind of like Ganon’s and hits Black Shadow with it. One of Black Shadow’s horns breaks, then he falls down and disappears.)
And yes that is alexjol’s Black Shadow for Falcon on Ganondorf. (I put it on there by accident, but it still worked, he’s just a little too thin.)
Overall, I’m pretty proud of this texture. I think it’s one of the best ones I’ve ever made since the details were pretty tedious and it still doesn’t look that good.
This is actually my first completely working and finished texture made with BrawlBox, which is good for me.
Ha! I’ve challenged Captain Falcon before…

It’s nice to see this finally finished after a year, Lol. If only you or I knew how to rip textures from GameCube games, Then you could apply Deathborn’s textures from GX onto Ganondorf.
Yeah. I copied the colors from his picture, but I don’t know how to rip and use textures like that.
If only Deathborn had a trophy in Brawl. Then we could just use the textures from that.
I was lucky SSBB had Black Shadow’s trophy :awesome:
black shadow didnt die by deathborn he just got send somewere far away in space.
if you read deatborns bio it tells about a space teleportation device deathborn has intigrated within his (armor / life support thing? whatever..) he used it 2 suddenly appear infront of captain falcon at the grand prix.
it was the same color as how black shadow disapeared by deathborn
